The same route can be used to submit requests for inaccessible information and to file complaints about the failure to provide accessibility.

Anyone has the right to request the provision of accessibility to a digital website, mobile application or some element thereof. It is also possible to request that information be made available in alternative forms, for example, reading a digitally inaccessible document, describing the content of a film without audiodescription, etc. The request should include the details of the person making the request, an indication of which website or mobile application is involved, and a method of contact. If the requesting person reports the need to receive information in an alternative form, he should also specify the form of this information.

The public entity should implement the request immediately and no later than within 7 days. If it is not possible to meet this deadline, the public entity shall immediately inform when it will be possible to fulfill the request, with a deadline of no more than 2 months. If it is not possible to ensure availability, the public entity may propose an alternative way to access the information.

If an entity refuses to comply with a request to provide accessibility or alternative access to information, a complaint may be filed against such action.

After all options have been exhausted, the complaint can also be sent to the Ombudsman for Civil Rights.
