Internet Multimedia Information Centre

Expected since a few years realization of project “INTERNET MULTIMEDIA INFORMATION CENTRES IN SCHOOLS AND PEDAGOGICAL LIBRARIES” took place in February and March of the year 2006 in Pedagogical Library in Płock and its 2 branches (in Gostynin and Sierpc). This project is implemented by Ministry of Education and Science partly financed through European Social Fund.

The aim of project is:

1. Improving quality and access of education through promotion of using modern technologies in education,
2. Making easier individual collecting and processing the information available through the Internet and multimedia information,
3. Giving support to process of nonstop learning by oneself,
4. Equaling of educational chances irrespective of place of living and financial status,
5. Giving support to integration of youth when it is about cultural differences, physical and  intellectual efficiency,
6. Giving access to the Internet outside the lesson system for pupils, teachers and local society,
7.  Widely making available possibility to search catalogues of pedagogical libraries for readers’ needs.
